Well-traveled and cultured, our clients have an extensive collection of sculptures, art, fashion and wine that represent their life story. These collections presented an opportunity for us to design an inspired home representative of their lifestyle where their collections could be displayed.
Special attention was paid to every architectural and material decision. Custom millwork portals made of bronze and rare vintage California Laurel veneer were an ode to their life in California. A mosaic of Italian travertine flooring with venetian plaster walls were inspired by an antique sculpture from their travels in Italy.
We reconfigured the floor plan to create a layout more conducive to entertaining; a concealed butler’s pantry, a formal dining and wine room, a primary suite with his and hers dressing rooms and bathrooms. The salon is furnished with comfortable and flexible lounge seating and is surrounded by the client’s art and rare vintage furniture - cosmopolitan with a nod to vintage.
“Architecture reflects truly as a mirror.”
